The Meaning of LIFE!

Oh Well.. In the last few weeks America and the World has seen the fight for life drama of Terri Shiavo and passing of Pope John Paul II. Other notables have also passed away too: Johnnie Cochrane and Mitch Hedberg. In the media reporting of these passings, I could only sit and ponder about the meaning of one's life. I mean that according to US Courts, it is OK to strave someone to death because they are disabled? I still cannot come to grips with this decision.

The Pope gracefully left us after a lengthy illness, he will be missed.

Johnnie Cochrane left us with a magnificent career and an example for future leaders and lawyers to follow. ( He was more than O.J.'s lawyer)

Mitch Hedberg, a brilliant comic gone too soon.

We ALL will leave an impression of our lives on our loved ones and those we come in contact everyday. For some people, their lives are impacted by people they have only read about or seen on film, in the news or from afar. The question I have to myself is : What do I want to be my mission statements & How can I make a significant difference leaving this world a better place??

I am sure that in some way the these people thought about these very questions.

And they did leave prominent impressions and mission statements that will be talked about for years and generations to come.
